We Are Cardiff – a day of photoshoots

I mentioned briefly before the storytelling project I run here in Cardiff, called We Are Cardiff. We recently adopted a new photographer called Ffion Matthews, so today she, Adam and I went out on four photoshoots covering the breadth of Cardiff. We went to Roath, Canton, Riverside, Leckwith, and back to Canton, and photographed four wonderful people who have contributed stories for We Are Cardiff: Noreen, Katrina, Dan, and Verso. I don’t normally post photos on here, but I thought it might prettify the place up. So here are some shots – me photographing the photographers!

We Are Cardiff has turned out to be a pretty awesome project. So far we’ve published 19 stories from 19 very different Cardiffians (or former Cardiffians). Check out the We Are Cardiff website for the stories so far – and if you’re interested in taking part, there’s a section on how to do that there too.
